A Kansa Wand is a compact facial massage tool that features a wooden handle and a dome-shaped cap. This dome-shaped cap is made of pure Kansa or bronze metal – a combination of copper and tin – known for its healing properties. A lead-free alloy, it is also called “bell metal” and is popularly used in Tibetan gongs.
Kansa was an invention of the Indian Bronze Age. For thousands of years, it had been the metal of choice for making utensils. People used to eat on kansa plates as it helped digestion by reducing the acid levels in food. They also drank from kansa cups as they believed it worked as a purification system that brought down acidity levels in water.
Because a Kansa Wand is made of the same pure, lead-free metal, it helps remove built-up toxins, heat, and acidity from your face and neck as you glide it over your skin. It is also meant to improve lymphatic drainage and increase blood flow, helping you unlock naturally glowing skin with continued massage.
